New Volunteer Positions at the Gardens

We are looking for interested, qualified people to join our Volunteer Leadership Team!

The Team will consist of a Volunteer Coordinator, Marketing & Social Media Coordinator, Volunteer Ambassador and Garden Docent Coordinator. This is a great opportunity to gain training and experience with a variety of skills including environmental management, cloud computing, volunteer management, project management, public speaking, marketing, social media and more. Be a part of your local community and protect the legacy of the gem at the heart of Oakland!

This effort is part of a revamp of the volunteer program at the Gardens, aimed to allow Oaklanders and visitors continued enjoyment of the Gardens’ wonderous natural beauty while increasing stewardship of the Gardens by local community members. People from all communities are encouraged to apply!
