Herbal Remedy Workshop: October 29, Saturday, 11:30am

You are invited  to “Potions and Lotions” a free Herbal Remedy Workshop in the Gardens at Lake Merritt, Saturday, October 29 at 11:30 am in the Hope Garden (across from the Sensory Garden and adjacent to the Edible Garden).

Learn about teas and salves made from herbs commonly found in a home garden.  Herbs have long been used to ease a sore throat, relieve muscle and bone aches, and to provide energy. Garden and herbal specialists, Sharon Bronstrom and Tia Ballantine, will discuss the health properties of a variety of plants, demonstrating proper herbal preparation and offering samples of these herbal solutions.  Don’t miss this special demonstration.
