Photographer and plantsman Ted Kipping is a Certified & Consulting Arborist who has spent 40 years studying and working with woody plants and their associates. He has journeyed to many parts of the world to botanize and photograph plants and gardens to gain a better understanding. There is a plethora of lovely and visually engaging Rhododendron species to hold our interest YEAR-ROUND! Let us take a look at them together. I first learned of Ted Kipping thru the SFBG’s library slide show of his “Bark as Art”! He very generously allowed me to use those images for my first Nature Meditation and then his “O’Keefe meets Monet” for the 2nd one!
I am delighted to learn that he has done presentations here in Oakland too! I was unable to attend his SF shows due to declining health on my part.
However, IF he is going to come over here again, I SURE WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT ABOUT IT!!!
