Tips for the February Garden
Tips prepared by the Alameda County Master Gardeners
- Prune Fuchsias
- Start seeds (indoors) of warm season crops requiring 4 – 8 weeks of growth before setting out. These include tomatoes, peppers, eggplants and basil. An article that can help get you started is available by clicking here.
- Consider whether your fruit trees need a dormant oil spray if you have had problems in the previous growing season. The UC Davis Home Orchard site can help.
